Join us for a day of celebration for Big Fan's 2nd birthday on Saturday 9th November!

Explore our Garage Sale and Open Day from 10am - 2pm, Our Garage Sale will have local vendors, Music Gear, Local Band Merch, Artist Headshots with Luke Penney, Coffee, Food and more. Upstairs we will be running an Open Day where you can check out our recording studios and chat to our studio team and make a booking.

BIG FAN has been a part of the Aotearoa music community for two years, supporting artists and fostering a creative space in Morningside. This milestone is a tribute to the music makers, the fans, and everyone who has been part of the journey. Let’s make it a night to remember with good vibes, great music, and a whole lot of celebration!

Since opening, the world-class recording studios have been used by over 1,636 creatives to write, experiment and record music - some for the very first time - and the venue has played host to more than 278 shows and events featuring nearly 850 artists - collectively involving almost 2,700 creatives performing on stage and drawing an impressive 21,000+ fans through the doors. As a multi-purpose not-for-profit music space, it has also successfully delivered 27 key programmes with 173 core participants and engaged a further 359 creatives.‍
