WRITE NIGHT
CO-LAB is a collaborative writing and music making evening held at BIG FAN. The night is to provide a space for collaboration and exploration of composing music with others in an accessible format of 1 evening. With other musical creatives with no commercial expectations or obligations. Each iteration of CO-LAB will be tailored to a chosen theme, with the in site and support from a curator that is a specialist in that field, who will also guide and support on the evening.
There will be 9 spots available for the write night
WHAT’S ON OFFER: CO-LAB provides each successful applicant with:
- the opportunity to write songs in collaboration with other artists, songwriters, and producers at BIG FAN for 1 evening
- The chance to talk to an industry professional in their field
Join Georgia Lines for an unforgettable collaborative songwriting night, where nine talented artists and songwriters come together to create something special. Hosted by Georgia, the evening kicks off with an intimate sit-down session where she and a long-time collaborator—a fellow songwriter/producer—will share their creative process. Together, they will co-write a chorus live, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at how songs are crafted in real-time. After laying down a quick recording of the chorus the artists will be split into groups, each tasked with finishing the song in their own way. At the end of the night, we'll reconvene to hear the unique interpretations each group has created. It’s a night of learning, creating, and connecting through the power of music.
